Fashion Under £40: The Joy Edit
The new Fashion Under £40 is back with an edit from Joy. To be clear, I’m not a fashion blogger or a stylist. I don’t ‘curate’ collections or have much of an idea when it comes to trends. I know what I like and I know what I look ok in as a size 12-14 woman. I also try to find pieces that I can dress up or down so there’s nothing too casual or too dress up. Anyway, here’s my selection from Joy…enJOY.
For transparency, this is not a sponsored article, but Joy did gift me this jumper and a dress. All images are hyperlinked to the store to make it super easy…
The Denim Dress
This versatile beauty also comes in blue. Love it for the colder days with tights and a polo neck but could also make a lovely summer dress with converse (if you don’t mind flashing your pins) // £39
The Rainbow Sweat
This sweat is a great way to brighten up the darkest and chilliest days (is Summer ever going to come?). The rainbow thing is big right now so I’m all over this throw-on option // £39
The Clash Stripe
I have NEVER been able to resist a stripe and this one ticks all my boxes. Pink? Yes. Bright? Yes. Perfect for every occasion? Yep. Plus it’s a badass price point too // £20
The Luxe Sports Sandal
Want to shake up your slider game? At this price, these sliders are PERFECT for city strolls or beach strolls. // £20
The Doggy Style Blouse
Obviously I couldn’t resist that title, but seriously this such a fun shirt I had to include it. Also, as someone who doesn’t love the tops of their arms, this is a great fit to cover them up but also keep you cool // £39
The Joy-Out Jumpsuit
This is the perfect day-to-evening option. Plus, you’re only buying one thing but getting a WHOLE outfit. That’s the true joy of the jumpsuit and ALMOST outweighs the pain-in-the-ass-peeing-situation // £25
The Summer Maxi
For those who don’t love their legs 🙋🏼♀️ this is a great option for those warmer days. I love the green, but I also love the tiered detail and reckon this will look just as good with a slouchy vest top and cons as it would with a chunky knit and boots. A great all rounder. // £27
The Sexy Sports Trouser
I’m a big fan of the sports-luxe vibe and these pants are just that. I’d wear them with a platform sneaker or a cool loafer and team with a tee and a blazer. Love the gold detail too meaning if you throw on some heels they’ll look well glam. // £21
The Winter Warmer
I know we’re not really in the coat-buying season but this colour at that price in this cut was just too good to not include. Save it for next September and rediscover the joy then // £37.50
The Joy-ful Culotte
I’m a big fan of a culotte. They’re generally elasticated waists, they’re nice and roomy and they flash the best part of my leg. Dress them up or down with heels or trainers and these slit details are everything // £15
The Fab Fur
It’s green, it’s fur, it’s £35. Enough said. // £35
The Denim Jumpsuit
Again with the jumpsuits, I hear you say. I know, I know. Forgive me but with Spring on it’s way (I promise!) this is such a great option // £30
The Bell Beauty
This bell-sleeved blouse is such a classic and one that you’ll wear for ever. Better than the simple black shirt, this is way more glam // £20
