HOT FOR MENTAL HEALTH

APRIL 26 2018

Having suffered from depression and post natal depression, I decided to raise funds for Cocoon Family Support – a London based charity committed to supporting mothers and families struggling with post-natal depression and mental health issues surrounding pregnancy and beyond.

On April 26th 2018, I completed 5 hot yoga sessions in one day. That’s over 7 hours in a room that is 41 degrees and 37% humidity. I spent 15 weeks undergoing gruelling training for the challenge and took some pretty special people with me along the way.

I raised a total of

£2,235

I have just learned that the money raised would be spent on a group facilitator in their Camden site for a year to allow them to restart this group after their funding was slashed by Camden Council/CCG earlier this year. I am so proud of what I achieved and the fact that there are real, tangible things happening that will help real people in need as a result is super special.

To everyone – family, friends, influencers, brands – that supported me THANK YOU! I couldn’t have done it without you.
